The Chieftains Cup was presented to the club by The Right Hon. The Earl of Elgin and Kincardine on behalf of Standing Council of Scottish Chiefs. The tradition was that men should always wear their kilts when playing and the ladies should also wear tartan. Ice men now frown on that, but we still try to wear tartan over the weekend.
